"Hi, I'm Wesley! I'm a 17-year-old high school student from the Bay Area with a passion for understanding what drives business success. Growing up between Utah's 'Silicon Slopes' and California's 'Silicon Valley,' I've been fascinated by the stark contrasts between established tech giants and emerging startups – particularly in how they generate returns and create value.
This curiosity led me to start investing at age 13. Using money from birthday gifts and various small jobs, I've grown a $3,400 investment by 260%. But beyond the numbers, the journey has taught me invaluable lessons about business dynamics and financial markets.
These experiences inspired me to create Dive2Biz after participating in a personal finance competition. I realized that while business knowledge is crucial for success, it often isn't taught in a way that resonates with young people. By combining my real-world investing experience with a passion for writing, I'm building a platform that makes business education accessible, practical, and engaging for high school students.
When I'm not analyzing markets or creating content for Dive2Biz, you'll find me carving down ski slopes, practicing taekwondo, or catching waves along the California coast. I believe some of the best business insights come from diverse experiences – whether that's exploring new cuisines (I'm a big sushi and taco fan) or connecting with people while traveling the world.

Hey there! I'm a 16-year-old high school student from Saratoga, passionate about investing and encouraging my peers to do the same. I’m always keeping an eye on the stock market. My love for accounting and finance comes from my first-generation mother, who came from Canton and Vietnam to America on a boat in the ocean with almost nothing but a nickel. She worked tirelessly to ensure my life would be nothing near to hers and for that I will always have to repay her.
Inspired by her resilience, my goal is to foster growth in financial knowledge and provide equal opportunities to people around the world.
Wesley and I started Dive2Biz because we often found ourselves navigating the world of finance on our own, especially living where we do. Through this platform, we aim to share the knowledge we’ve gained and inspire others in similar situations to explore topics they’re passionate about.
Oh, and by the way—I actually love studying! It’s a bit unusual, I know, but I also enjoy crying over emotional movies, drawing, giving advice to my younger sister, and so much more.
